JEWS MOURN THE MURDER OF A MUSLIM FAMILY, A MUSLIM SPREADS JEW HATRED AT THE MEMORIAL FOR THE FAMILY—WHO WILL CONDEMN THIS?
It took less than a day after the horrific hate-based car ramming of a Muslim family in London, Ontario on Sunday June 6th , before the Jew haters took to social media to spread a malicious lie that the killer was Jewish, which even if he had been, is in itself not a reason to inflame Jew hatred. It is in fact a hate crime and it is fueling even more antisemitism. In light of recent attacks that Hamas inflicted
The reality is that Jew haters don’t miss any opportunity to spew their lies, and even a memorial focused on love and unity is not sacrosanct. That those on the dias did not immediately step forward and condemn the injection of antisemitic remarks by Dr. Munir El-Kassem says much about how little is being done to defend Jews and protect Jews from hate.
Not even as an after-thought has any politician come out and spoken about the bigotry of this senior Muslim spokesperson.
Watch this clip posted on Toronto Muslim and other Facebook sites from the evening vigil in London, June 8th, and hear the cheers of the crowd, supporting his statement. It was also reported that the crowd chanted, “Free free Palestine,” at this solemn occasion. Antisemitism has been normalized!!
This man’s speech should be condemned; his Facebook and twitter and any other accounts investigated, and his community need hold him accountable. He is inciting Jew hatred. Sadly, he has done nothing to honour the family that was killed, but he used their death as his pulpit for preaching hatred. Shame on Dr. Munir El-Kassem!
This is further evidence that governments must implement the IHRA definition of antisemitism which has been adopted by both the Ontario and Canadian governments. Officials across Canada must stand up and combat all forms of racism, including Jew hatred. CAEF demands zero tolerance of all hatreds.
