According to Wikipedia, “Woke (/ˈwoʊk/ WOHK) is an English adjective meaning 'alert to racial prejudice and discrimination' that originated in African-American Vernacular English (AAVE). ... In turn, some commentators came to consider it an offensive term with negative associations to those who promote political ideas involving identity and race.”
To many the woke culture has become exactly what it derides; it’s bullying, harassment, canceling people and ideas that are not consistent with the premise that everything is race based. Conservative or centrist voices have been muffled, even intimidated and eliminated. CAEF views “woke” as a negative, divisive view of society, and one that is increasingly antithetical to diversity and inclusion and generally contributing to antisemitism.
Antisemitism at the University of Toronto
The report issued by the Working Group on Antisemitism in December 2021 was met with acceptance and acclaim by some, and the U of T President, Professor Meric Gerter, was quick to say all recommendations would be adopted. Is this enough? Some of us think not.

Corollary-2: EDI (Equity Diversity and Inclusion) offices lacking Jewish-Zionist representation operate contrary to the principle of "Diversity & Inclusion" and are totally useless until reformed.”
The Canadian Medical Association has issued a statement, Time to recognize and address antisemitism in medicine and beyond, not directly aimed at U of T but calling on all schools of medicine to address antisemitism. Signed by Dr. Katharine Smart, CMA President, this is a crucial piece in the battle to change the culture of education in all disciplines, at all levels.

As a British citizen who had arrived in Palestine in 1940. Jack Padwa joined the underground war to overthrow the British mandate in Palestine and managed to infiltrate British intelligence.
Later David Ben Gurion confided in Jack Padwa that his 1950 visit in the US had been a disaster, and that few people understood what the nascent state of israel was all about. Jack Padwa turned to Ben Gurion and said that “What you need is a book and a movie” so with the backing of David Ben Gurion, Jack Padwa brought writer Leon Uris, author of the book Exodus, to Israel.

Woke Whoopi Goldberg
Much, too much has been said about the faux pas stated by Whoopi Goldberg in declaring that the Holocaust was a white on white war, not a matter of race. While some have excused her ignorance, some people saw her doubling down on this view as antisemitic, and some have felt that she was inappropriately punished with two weeks of off air timeout (to stay at home and learn something), the issue of her “wokeism” is the theme we address.
Read this article because being woke is the gateway to antisemitism. Any and all roads from critical race theory, through identity politics, are leading to cancel culture, and the swerving road which divides people on the basis of the amount of melanin in their skin.
