CAEF presents "Employment Law in Combating Antisemitism" with Howard Levitt

Howard Levitt, Senior Partner at Levitt Sheikh, has appeared as lead counsel in more employment law cases in the Supreme Court of Canada and at more provincial Courts of Appeal than any other lawyer in Canada. He chaired major employment and labour law conferences across Canada, including for 10 years of the Ontario Law Society.

Howard Levitt writes a twice weekly employment law column for The Financial Post, is the author of one of Canada’s leading dismissal textbooks, five other texts and is Editor-in-Chief of The Dismissal and Employment Law Digest. A labour and employment lawyer, Howard Levitt has represented many of Canada’s largest corporations and is chief spokesperson for numerous collective bargaining negotiations in a variety of industries. He is the recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Community Service and Citizenship.

Noteworthy are articles that Howard has written since October 7th, calling out university campus antisemitism, and the right of management to terminate employees whose anti-Israel protests harm the corporate brand.

Howard was elected as a bencher of the Law Society of Ontario in May 2023.
