The first session of REACH, Remove and Eradicate Antisemitism and Cyber Hate, provided by FOA, (Fighting Online Antisemitism) in partnership with CAEF and DARA, was held November 12, and the recording is available.
Here is what one registrant said:
I just watched the first session of the REACH programme for Canadians today. I thought it was very interesting and I'm sorry I couldn't be there in person. I want to congratulate you and your colleagues for putting together such an important and ambitious programme, and one I'm sure I'll learn a lot from.
Here are some useful links that were mentioned in the session:
What is the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism?
Who is using fallacious arguments to stop the adoption of IHRA?
You can still register for remaining sessions and be an active participant.
REACH is funded by JNF and Maspik
Combat Antisemitism Movement and FOA produced Report It
In the wake of recent events and the significant rise of online antisemitism, CAM partnered with Fighting Online Antisemitism (FOA) to launch a new portal called “Report It,” helping people report and fight against antisemitic content found online.
The platform provides step-by-step guides to reporting hateful content on the most popular social media platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube, in an easy and anonymous manner, in addition to finding links of antisemitic content you can help us report.
You can also find our new videos and statistics about online antisemitism shared over the coming weeks through our weekly newsletter and social media.
Please help us spread the word and invite others to join the initiative to stop antisemitism from spreading online.
