Hitler: The Proclaimed Messiah of the Palestinian Cause
Review by Andria Spindel
Aabhas Maldahiyar has made the history of Jewish persecution from time immemorial through to the 20th century pogroms and the Holocaust, a very accessible read while incorporating, not avoiding, explicit documentation. Maldahiyar’s attention to detail, to facts, and evidence painstakingly researched, makes the most of his academic training as an architect, building structure from the foundation, to the façade. A self taught historian, Maldahiyar spent 5 years reviewing declassified information, visiting German, American and British archives, and studying the Hitler’s fascination with Islam and the Grand Mufti’s adoration of Hitler.
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Al Husseini, worked before and during the war years to garner support from the Nazis for his desired destruction of the Jews in Palestine, while Hitler grew in the eyes of many Arabs to be their hero. Some saw Hitler as the returned “hidden Imam,” or the Mahdi, the spiritual leader to the ends of time. More surprising is that Hitler and some of the upper echelon Nazis admired jihad as “the perfect war machine.” Thus, the Muslim Brotherhood “treated the Mein Kampf as the second Quran.”
The Nazi-Islamist alliance contributed greatly to the Axis powers, and promises were made by Hitler to Al-Husseini, that could have led to an Islamic Europe, most certainly to a totally Muslim Middle East devoid of Jews.
Published in 2025, this is a must read to understanding that from its inception, the Palestinian movement has been the creation of Islamofascism, linking Nazism and Jihadism. As noted in the book’s promotional description,”Maldahiyar also decodes Islamofascism, Zionism, and a straightforward history of Israel, dispelling myths at every turn.”
