Jewish Canadians Condemn All Extremism

We in the Canadian Jewish community are heartbroken to read about the murder of Nancy Grewal. Nancy was a Sikh Canadian woman who fearlessly spoke out about the dangers of Khalistani terrorism here on Canadian soil, and faced constant harassment from lawless thugs because of it. Unfortunately, as is far too often the case in Canada, law enforcement ignored the threat to Nancy's life and she was murdered brutally in her home.
The CBC is now reporting that Khalistani accounts on social media are taking credit for the murder in an attempt to spread fear and intimidation among the Indo-Canadian community. This will not stand.
We are in contact with Sikh and Hindu community leaders and pledge to stand by all Sikhs and Hindus in Canada who stand against Khalistani Terrorism. We implore all levels of government and law enforcement to take this matter seriously, and treat Khalistani terrorists as we do the IRGC, Hamas and Hezbollah.
As we head into the sabbath for the week the Jewish community sends our condolences to Nancy Grewal's family in their time of mourning and she will be in our prayers this weekend.
Om Shanti, May her memory be a blessing.
Shabbat Shalom
