Dear Catholic Register,

I will give Susan Korahar the benefit of the doubt and just call her sadly uninformed about the condition of Christians in Israel in that she goes to some length to blame Israel for their decline in areas under control of the Palestinian Authority.

Israel is quite proud of is support for Christians, being the only country in the Middle East where the Chritian population is growing. Christian Arabs serve in all branches of government, in commerce, and are well represented in the medical community where they work side by side with their Jewsih counterparts in unsegregated sites, where people of all religions and colors are treated equally.

While Jihadist gangs are murdering and raping African Christians, Israel is providing security for all Christian holy sites, even those led by churchmen who still believe in the false claim that Jews for killed Christ.

Blaming Israel for driving Christians out of Bethlehem is an antisemitic trope. Anyone interested in reading actual history knows that Islamic gangs have forced Christians to leave and have seized their businesses. Naturally these gangs and their supporters in Ramallah blame the Jews, a sad perversion of the truth, currently the foundation of the belief system of many Israel haters in the so-called caring community.
