Letter from Richard Sherman to Boston Globe re treatment of Jewish students at MIT

Dear Letter to the Editor:

Jews at MIT are now being treated as Jews were at Nazi universities in the 1930s. MIT professor Retsef Levi reported an incident in which Jewish students were "physically prevented" from attending class by an antisemitic group called "MIT Coalition Against Apartheid". The MIT Israel Alliance reported that Jewish students were warned not to enter MIT's front entrance due to risk to their physical safety. It is appalling that MIT President Sally Kornbluth is unable describe this despicable treatment of Jewish students at MIT as antisemitic. Her implication is that the Jews are responsible just as Joseph Goebbels said that the Jews were responsible for Kristallnacht. Richard Sherman
