Letter from Ruth Abrams to Acting Mayor McKelvie Re: Al Quds Day Hatefest Rally

Dear Acting Mayor McKelvie,

Once again, Al Quds Day (Which actually was initiated by the terrorist regime of Iran’s late Ayatollah Khomeini!), has poisoned Toronto with vile Jew-hate––despicably equating the Star of David with the swastika symbol of the Nazis who slaughtered 6,000,000 Jews. This rally advocated for another genocidal intifada against Israel, which in the past involved suicide bombings, shootings, and brutal murders by bludgeoning.

The speakers (some connected to banned terrorist entities), advocated for terrorist organizations like Hezbolla, Hamas, PFLP and Islamic Jihad, to be taken off Canada’s list of banned terror groups, and for known terrorists with blood on their hands, to be released from jail.

Former Mayor John Tory promised to address this hate-mongering. I hope that you will address and resolve this crucial issue.

Wishing you much success in your tenure,

Respectfully,

Ruth Abrams
