Dear Editor,
Your recent article of June 7th, including an image comparing a noted terrorist who is serving 5 lifetime sentences for murder, with a Nobel Laureate who represented freedom and peace, is shocking, hateful, unacceptable and antithetical to Canadian values.
How dare you suggest that Marwan Barghouti is anything like Nelson Mandela. The former is a convicted killer, rightly locked up for life, while the latter was a strong Zionist, a civil rights and freedom activist, who fought against exactly what Barghouti represents, racism, Jew hatred and intolerance.
You owe the Jewish community and every decent Canadian an apology.
You owe your readers the truth, End Jew Hatred!
