Ruth Abrams wrote to Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, asking why Canada demands Israel observe international law but has failed to call out Hamas for promising more attacks against Israel.

Dear Ms.Jolie,
You have asked Israel to respect international law in Gaza. Where is your condemnation of Hamas leaders, Abu Maezuk and Ismail Haniyeh, who now luxuriate in Qatar, who are billionaires from the smuggling networks they set up in Gaza’s underground tunnels?
They orchestrated Gaza’s hellhole of misery–-no shelters, no fuel, no food. Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzou, interviewed on Russia Today TV, openly admitted the tunnels in Gaza were built to protect Hamas fighters not civilians from airstrikes.
Hamas political official Ghazi Hamad says that attacks on Israeli civilians are justified; that the cost in terms of Palestinian “martyrs” is worth the ultimate goal of ending Israel; and that Hamas will continue to mount such attacks. In his words “Hamas is prepared to repeat the October 7 …Operation time and again until Israel is annihilated…. Palestinians are willing to pay the price…. they are proud to sacrifice martyrs”.
Will you call out the Hamas elite in Qatar, Iran’s unholy proxy, to alleviate the misery they have created? Will you censure Iran?
