Sunday Evening November 19th A special interfaith opportunity of music and solidarity
Two in-person opportunities:
Live at The River Place in Fort Mills, South Carolina, or
In the Greater Toronto area
Join us at the Lodzer Centre Congregation (12 Heaton St., North York) for a light supper at 5 pm EST followed by the concert via livestream at 6 pm
This is a unique and special interfaith opportunity.
Joshua Washington, Executive Director of IBSI is an activist, public speaker and a singer/songwriter who will perform a specially created new song. Olga Meshoe Washington, public speaker, Israel activist, and COO of Club Z, will speak on the importance of Standing with Israel. Pastor Dumisani Washington, Founder and CEO of IBSI, and author of Zionism and the Black Church is the keynote speaker.
Music will provided by The Hebrew Project, an eclectic group that sings songs in Hebrew and English with a gospel/jazz/reggae twist.
The program will include a musical contribution by Rabbi Dr. Moshe Meirovich of Congregation B’nai Israel (St. Catharines, Ontario).
The event is free but registration requested by Thursday November 16 if attending at The Lodzer Centre.
