November 30th was the Memorial Day for Jewish Exiles from Arab lands

Ivan Bassov, in the Times of Israel, November 29,2025 describes the real Nakba.

“Israel formalized November 30 as the national Jewish Refugee Day — Yom HaPlitim in Hebrew — in 2014. Every year, Jewish communities in Israel and throughout the world mark the expulsion and flight of nearly a million Jews from Arab countries and Iran. The memory is well-preserved; the events are well-known; the commemorations are established. What has been missing is not remembrance, but terminology — the willingness to call this day by the name that fully captures the scale and meaning of what happened. If the Middle East has known a true Nakba, a genuine catastrophe characterized by the destruction of entire communities and the erasure of ancient civilizations, then it is the Jewish expulsion from the Arab world. November 30 should be officially designated, or at least widely nicknamed, the Nakba.”

Give Citizenship to the “Palestinian Refugees” in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan

“Until 1948, about 900,000 Jews lived in Arab and Muslim countries—Morocco, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Algeria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya, Iran and more. They suffered persecution, threats to their lives, antisemitic harassment, confiscation of property, laws restricting movement and speech, anti-Jewish legislation, and even the stripping of citizenship. Since Israel's founding, the Islamic world has effectively become Judenrein, and its ancient Jewish communities destroyed. These Jews were never recognized by the U.N. or anyone else as refugees. My family shed the mantle of refugeehood, built full lives in Israel, raised six children, and educated us to work hard and be productive citizens of the young state. Life was hard—many lived in tent camps under harsh conditions—but they kept their heads down, learned Hebrew, found work, and raised their children on the right path.”

End the charade that Arabs who left, fled, or were exiled, from Mandatory Palestine, and blame the Jews for the plight, are “refugees.” By any legitimate definition of refugee, those stuck in limbo land, without recognized citizenship status, in camps run by the UNRWA, are hostages to their cousins who use them to beat Israel, to build a victimhood narrative and to forever denigrate Israel. No other people have their own refugee support agency that refuses to settle them in any land, other than to claim “ownership” to land in Israel, nor has any other people “inherited refugee status” even after 5 or more generations. UNRWA’s chosen mandate is to refuse to settle Arabs and thus keep them in a permanent state of “exile” which  benefits UNRWA financially and ideologically, aided by every other Arab country. One really must ask why no Muslim or Arab country has offered permanent citizenship status to the belligerent and neglected “Palestinian” Arab refugees.

Words Matter, by Richard Sherman

In a letter to the Editor of The Guardian, a notoriously biased left wing UK newspaper, Richard Sherman challenged their claim that “words matter” when the editorial line seems to neglect or reject words of reason and truth about Israel.

Khaled Abu Toameh, Palestinian Affairs Correspondent & Analyst, stated recently:

“As long as Hamas is standing on its feet, there's no future for the Gaza Strip, I told a delegation of US law-enforcement officers, including Sheriffs and FBI agents. I pointed out that many Palestinians are afraid to speak out against Hamas or the Palestinian Authority for fear of being labeled collaborators with Israel.”
