WATCH: Confronting Antisemitism in Canada

On June 12, 2025, the Clarity Coalition, the Niagara Military Museum, and the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation held a full day conference presented both in-person and through Zoom: "Confronting Antisemitism in Canada". This event featured expert speakers analyzing and discussing many aspects of antisemitism: psychology, extremism, anti-Israel NGO's, Jewish communities' response to Oct. 7, education challenges and opportunities, and legal and institutional tools for change.
This first video features Casey Babb, the Keynote Speaker, speaking on how the current iteration of antisemitism is AntiZionism.
This second video features Naftali Balanson from NGO Monitor, speaking on Canadian anti-Israel NGO's, and the funding and flow of money supporting anti-Zionist and pro-terror organizations. Naftali is the first of two speakers in Panel 1: Understanding Extremism.
This third video features Phil Gurski, former CSIS analyst and currently President and CEO of Borealis Threat and Risk Consulting, speaking on homegrown radicalization. Phil is the second of two speakers in Panel 1: Understanding Extremism.
In this fourth video, David Bernstein, founder of the Jewish Institute for Liberal Values, is interviewed by Casey Babb on why Jewish communities were surprised by the response to Oct. 7.
In Panel 2 of the day - Education in Canada: Challenges and Opportunities, three presentations were made - Heidi Berger, Founder and President of The Foundation for Genocide Education, spoke on a renewed Holocaust education; Allied Voices for Israel students Pe'er and Melanie spoke on their personal experiences of antisemitism at Canadian universities; and then Dr. Mika Hackner, Senior Research Associate at the Jewish Institute for Liberal Values, discussed the integration of anti-Palestinian racism in educational curricula.
In this sixth and final video, Mark Sandler, Founder of the Alliance of Canadians Combatting Antisemitism, presented "Combatting Hate: Legal and Institutional Tools for Change."
