Recognizing Allies and Friends Makes Us Stronger

The Jewish community, here and globally, is feeling alone, alienated in part from mainstream culture and specifically targetted by mobs of antisemites, masquerading as antizionists. Many in media, academia and cultural institutions have taken positions that isolate Jews, denigrate Israel and even demonize Judaism.

But we are NOT alone.

The Jewish community needs to know who its friends and allies are. That’s why we at CAEF want you to know about the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI) and especially its Promised Land project. The project is the brainchild of MLI’s founder and Managing Director, Brian Lee Crowley, recipient of the 2026 CAEF Advocate Award of Excellence.

Allies Call to Shut Down the CMHR Nakba Exhibit

Allies for a Strong Canada

Allies for a Strong Canada unites Canadians of every background who share one belief: our freedoms, our democracy, and our national character are worth fighting for. Click here to learn more. Read below to sign the Allies for a Strong Canada petition that calls for the Canadian Museum of Human Rights to shut down its Nakba exibit.

After thousands of Canadians spoke up, Canada’s Culture Minister publicly called the museum’s Nakba exhibit an “error in curation” that “should be rectified.” But it’s still open.

A taxpayer-funded national museum is still platforming one side of a divisive foreign conflict — one a foreign entity, the Palestinian Authority, was directing and influencing the museum’s staff behind.

And the board that oversees the museum wasn’t even shown the exhibit before it opened to the public.

Allies for a Strong Canada is demanding the CMHR board shut down the exhibit. Here is an open letter signed by Canadians. Please add your name.

Love Your Jewish Neighbor Month

Several events are being organized by Canada House of Prayer, to both stand with the Jewish community against antisemitism and to foster unity among Canadians through prayer.

Canada House of Prayer

The Walk Against Antisemitism is Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

CanHop is not only interceding for the Jewish community on the streets, but also gathering to pray for Israel and the Jews. Their message states: “As the evening concludes, we will come together for a special time of worship and prayer. This will be a sacred gathering to humble ourselves before God, seek His heart for the Jewish people, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and ask Him to bring healing, protection, salvation, and reconciliation in a time of growing hostility and division.”

Here is information on the Walk and Worship service.

Allies Speak Up, Stand Up

Below are important ally organizations. Learn about them. Reach out to them. Contact organizations and individuals in your communities who might already be allies or are seeking to join an allies’ group.

International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ)

International Christian Embassy Jerusalem

“Founded in 1980, the ICEJ recognizes the modern-day restoration of Israel as the faithfulness of God to keep His ancient covenant promises to the Jewish people.” In Canada, ICEJ has done remarkable work in building support for Israel among Bible-believing Christians, building relations with Jewish organizations, and raising money for important, often life saving, programs for the people of Israel. Centered in Jerusalem, ICEJ has brought thousands of Christians to learn about Israel and the Jewish people, to celebrate festivals, volunteer and help in service to the land and people.

Upstanders Canada

Upstanders is an organization of Jews and non-Jews who stand together to fight the lies and hatred of antisemitism/antizionism, recognizing this is a Canadian problem, not a Jewish only problem. They have created the Ally Action Hub with information on how to be an ally. Click here.
