United Against the Al-Quds Day Protest
A Day Initiated by Ayatollah Khomenei in 1979 to Demonize Israel
CAEF joins with those courageous Iranians and others who want freedom, want the end of the illegitimate Iranian terror regime, and who want friendship with Israel. This is not free speech on the streets of Toronto, but a free display of hatred.
WARNING: There is a material potential for violence at this event, despite a significant police presence. Participants are urged to exercise caution and environmental awareness, and be aware that they participate at their own risk.

Sign the Rebel News petition to ban Al-Quds Day.

Legal Update
Sentencing hearing of Deana SHERIF, May 1, 2026. Deana SHERIF was convicted in the Superior Court of Justice sitting at Ottawa of one count of assault and one count of criminal harassment. The criminal harassment charge stems from her following a Jewish man wearing a kippah around the streets of Ottawa, and aiming a high-pitched high-volume sound device at him. CAEF will be present at the sentencing hearing to present a Community Impact Statement to the court in person.
Sentencing hearing of Nicholas Vincent AMOR, April 16, 2025. Nicholas AMOR was found guilty in the Ontario Court of Justice sitting at Windsor of public incitement of hatred contrary to Section 319(1) of the Criminal Code, possession of an explosive substance, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. Specifically, AMOR made multiple postings on social media threatening to kill “Zionists” and was found in possession of various explosives and other weapons. CAEF will be present at the sentencing hearing to present a Community Impact Statement to the court in person.
Nicholas AMOR continues to face charges in the Ontario Court of Justice sitting at London of assault, disguise with intent, mischief over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
In addition to numerous other cases in Ontario, CAEF is continuing to track several cases of alleged antisemitic hate crimes and hate-motivated offenses in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. If these cases result in findings of guilt, CAEF representatives will present Community Impact Statements to the relevant courts.
CAEF executives and board members continue to be engaged in multiple investigations at the Ontario College of Teachers and Professional Engineers Ontario.
University of Toronto Report on Antisemitism
The Antisemitism Action Plan for the University of Toronto was created by four members of the Governing Council acting independently, in order to assist the University in reducing regular incidents of antisemitism that are impacting Jewish students, faculty, and staff. While the University has made efforts, the antisemitism problem is ongoing and intolerable. The Plan has been endorsed by groups and individuals with expertise in antisemitism including the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, CIJA, Alliance of Canadians Combating Antisemitism, B’nai Brith Canada, Stand With Us Canada, Association of Jewish Psychologists, Allied Voices for Israel, Canadian Women Against Antisemitism, Doctors Against Racism and Antisemitism, and the Network of Engaged Canadian Academics.
We say plainly to the University of Toronto: You are not doing enough to protect our Jewish students, faculty and staff from ongoing harm. You are not fulfilling your legal obligation and ethical duty to keep your Jewish community safe. We call on you to stop the suffering and implement the Antisemitism Action Plan immediately.
Supporting Iranian Doctors Under Terrorist Threats
Doctors Against Racism and Antisemitism (DARA) issue statement supporting the brave Patriotic Doctors of Iran as they struggle to care for wounded and sick, endangered, tortured Iranians.

On Medical Neutrality, Protection of Healthcare Workers, and Human Dignity in Iran
The Patriotic Doctors of Iran (PDI) and Doctors Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (DARA) express grave concern regarding escalating reports of violence, intimidation, detention, and persecution directed at physicians, healthcare workers, and civilians in Iran.
Our organizations unequivocally condemn violations of the professional independence of physicians and any infringement upon the civil and human rights of medical personnel and patients. Reports of actions by Iranian authorities, including security bodies such as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), raise serious concerns regarding violations of the universally recognized principle of medical neutrality.
Medical neutrality is a foundational principle of international humanitarian law and medical ethics. It requires that healthcare professionals be permitted to provide care to the sick and injured without interference, discrimination, intimidation, or reprisal, regardless of a patient’s political affiliation or social status. Medical facilities, transport systems, and healthcare personnel must be protected from attack, obstruction, or misuse.
Documented reports from international human rights organizations describe deeply troubling patterns, including hospital raids, the arrest and detention of physicians for treating injured protesters, intimidation of nurses and paramedics, interference with medical care, and the criminalization of routine medical treatment. Such actions undermine the Hippocratic Oath, erode trust in healthcare systems, and endanger public health.

CAEF in Solidarity with Temple Israel, West Bloomfield, Michigan
Reports of the car ramming attack on a synagogue yesterday, Thursday, March 12th, leading to a shoot out that killed the assailant, is another stark warning to the Jewish diaspora.
Read excerpt below from the Jewish Insider, March 13, 2026 on the terrorizing of the Jewish community, that thankfully did not lead to death or injury to any of the congregation.
“It’s a testament to the level of security, staff preparation and good fortune that a potential terrorist attack against Temple Israel in suburban Detroit was foiled yesterday. The fact that no one other than the heavily armed perpetrator was killed after driving a vehicle filled with explosives into a synagogue filled with preschoolers, counts as something of a miracle.
It’s also a reminder of the consequences of what can happen when antisemitism is allowed to become normalized in our society, moving unchecked through our social media feeds and political discourse, all amid the record levels of hate crimes committed against Jews simply for their identity.”

PMW reports on the PA: Read Headlines
Palestinian Media Watch is an organization that daily reveals the lies, deceits, and evil planned and evil carried out by the Palestinian Authority (PA). The PA is a consortium of “Palestinian” organizations, dominated by Fatah and that entity is the political arm of the terrorist group, the Palestinian Liberation Organization. Here are a few titles of recently shared PMW releases.
Note the tracking of Jew hatred, antizionism, and denigration of Israel. Sign up and share the stories—ask the Government of Canada how it can recognize a terrorist entity, the PA, as a government for an independent “Palestine”?

An Israeli Canadian Writes About Heading to a Bomb Shelter

My family has about 90 seconds to run for their lives, and it's invisible to the world.
For the past 9 days, my family in Israel (brother, sisters, mom, grandma, cousins) has been living under constant ballistic missile sirens, repeatedly running to bomb shelters. When a siren goes off, they have between 90 seconds to a few minutes to stop whatever they’re doing, leave their homes, and get to shelter.
It happens around 10 times a day, at any hour of the day or night. Every part of daily life revolves around how quickly you can reach a safe place. Even the most mundane things — taking a shower, cooking, pooping, changing your baby, taking your dog for a walk — come with a calculation, knowing there’s a real chance you’ll have to stop in the middle and run.
This post is not about headlines, maps, geopolitics, or online debates about morality. Please don’t turn it into that.
This is about the real, lived reality of my immediate family and nothing else.
I’m sharing this because it feels like nobody I speak to even knows that Israelis are living like this right now. My family’s reality seems invisible to the world, so I wanted to share what daily life actually looks like for the people I love.
