Dear Letter to the Editor/Op Ed:
The Globe & Mail Editorial recognizes that antizionism -- what has evolved into Zionophobia after 10/7 - has infected the classrooms and curriculums of many universities in Canada , including TMU, Carleton, McGill, Univ of Toronto and so many others. (" The Betrayal of Jewish Students Has To End")
This jew hating infection has created hostile environments for Jewish students to attempt to survive in. As UCLA Professor Judea Pearl, Daniel Pearl's father, as eloquently written concerning this Hitlerian phenomenon which infects many many American universities in an identical fashion as Canadian universities are infected in his treatise on Zionophobia:
" Zionophobia -- the absolute denial of Israel's right to exist - became normalized, mainstream, and even respectable in Western discourse, precisely at Israel's moment of greatest vulnerability...
"...but the post - October 7 attacks were different. This time they were driven by a wholehearted desire for Israel's demise -- with all its genocidal implications. The scent of blood, it seems, triggered a hunger for more. Hordes of predators emerged from the ideological tunnels, rushing to indict, sentence, and lynch Israel in the finest tradition of herd madness" .
See: " Coexistence and Other Fighting Words. Epilogue: The Crater of October 7", Judea Pearl, 2025, page 144.
Of course the reason for this infection of anti- Zionism/Zionophobia in the educational system is simple. Since the late 1980s Muslim countries led by Qatar have funded North American universities with over $40 billion with the quid pro quo, express or implied, to infect curriculums with Koranic antisemitism and hire professors who will indoctrinate students with it. Of course greedy and emasculated university administrators across North America have no problem with that quid pro quo. See: Isgap.org.
Of course this fact of Muslim countries pouring billions of dollars into the North American educational system with a quid pro quo to infect curriculums with antizionism/Zionophobia is a story for the Globe & Mail investigative reporter.
