Letter from Richard Sherman to the New York Times on Zionophobia, Not Settler Violence

Dear Letter to the Editor:

Yes, Bret Stephens, settler violence could be prosecuted more vigorously, but settler violence is not the problem. (“A Blunt Warning For Israel”).

The problem is Zionophobic academics, journalists and politicians who view 10/7, Hebron in August 1929, and the Hadassah Hospital Convoy Massacre on 4/13/48 in which 70 Jewish doctors, nurses and medical students were incinerated alive by gleeful Palestinian Arabs as just Palestinian Arabs being Palestinian Arabs, and every act of koranic butchery of Jewish men, women, children and newborns for nearly a century as just innocuous Palestinian Arab “resistance”.

103 Zionophobic Democrats in Congress just voted to deny the Jewish people of Israel the right to weapons to defend themselves. That represents 103 Zionophobic Democrats devoutly wishing for the genocide of defenseless Jews in Israel. Of course the EU similarly devoutly wishes.

Get real, it’s Zionophobia, not “settler violence” that is the existential problem for the Jews of the only indigenous homeland that the Jewish people have, as UCLA Professor Judea Pearl has eloquently written in “Coexistence and Other Fighting Words”, 2025.
