Letter from Ruth Abrams to U of T President Woodin to Cancel Event Honouring Hamas Terrorists

Dear President Melanie Woodin,

As a previous donor and loyal supporter of the University of Toronto, I am writing re: Allowing the honouring of Hamas terrorists, this October 7, on the steps of Sidney Smith Hall. This planned event to honour terrorists as martyrs is a moral travesty that could forever stain the reputation of the University of Toronto.

It would further endanger the lives of Jewish students, and spread more vicious desecration of plain historical truth, ensuring that the University of Toronto has no more claim to any evolved civilizational honour than the Nazi-infested universities of 1933’s Germany.

Please do the right thing and take immediate action to stop this catastrophe.
