Prime Minister Mark Carney

Government of Canada

Dear Prime Minister Carney,

Jew hatred is being fueled by the behaviour of our leaders, be they faith leaders, media leaders, political leaders, business leaders, or others in society that hold positions of influence.

Political leaders have more than just influence, they have decision-making powers and responsibilities. Your decisions have fueled Jew hatred in Canada, and globally, and we see little to counter it. Funding security and putting Jewish institutions behind bars, barricades, guards and even expecting them to operate in secrecy, as has been the growing case for the past few years, IS NOT the solution.

You might as well declare your animosity for the Jewish community and stop pretending with gratuitous talks of empathy. You should acknowledge that you are fine with isolating Jews and limiting our freedom to enjoy full Canadian society by supporting policies like DEI that do not treat all people as having equal opportunity but rather foster inequality and racism.

Were you to condemn the professors and administrators who tolerated, encouraged, and even lead college encampments, and courses that lie and deceive students about history and Israel’s rights, and were you to cut funding or support to pathetic anti-racism policies and activities that actually promote antisemitism, such as Anti-Palestinian Racism, that would be leadership. Were you to point out that Israel exists both legally and historically, and has been the home of the Jewish people since time immemorial, but never the home to any people called “Palestinians”, a concept invented by the Russians in the 60s and adopted by Arafat, an Egyptian terrorist, and then used as a cudgel against the Jews, that would be a step forward.

Were you to insist that there is no such legal entity as “West Bank”, because there isn’t one, and that this is Judea and Samaria, where Jews originated, that would demonstrate leadership at the most fundamental level.

Were you to cut funding from UNRWA which is an agency stacked with Hamas terrorists and leaders that deny Israel has any right to exist, that might even end some bloodshed and hold people accountable. How many reports do you need before you call out the terrorists who work for this NGO under the guise of doing humanitarian work, but actually do the job of destroying truth, killing Jews, and perpetuating both a false narrative and support for an ongoing Hamas’ war.

Were you to take back the nonsense of recognizing a non-existent State of Palestine and a dictator who for over 20 years has rewarded mass murderers, lone wolf terrorists, and taught children that Israel does not exist and the Jews are all evil, then you might be a leader to be emulated.

Were you to take back the words, “Muslim values are Canadian values,” and acknowledge that Islamic antisemitism is the primary source of Jew hatred worldwide, married to the alt-left, some of whom are in the Canadian parliament, then you might be a world class leader that can show the way to ending Jew hatred.

Were you courageous and creative, you would name the sources of antisemitism, stop their activity, hold the perpetrators accountable, defund their flow of money whether locally collected or sent from Iran, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey and other Islamist strongholds, you would then make a colossal difference for humanity, not just Canada.

We await your leadership.

Respectfully,
