CAEF Letter to the President of Princeton University Re: the hiring of a distinctly antiZionist individual

Dear President Eisgruber, 

I have learned that Princeton will be offering a course, ‘Gender, Reproduction, and Genocide in Gaza’, to be given by Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian whom I understand was arrested and briefly detained in Israel for inciting hatred against the Jewish state and subsequently fired from her position in the Faculty of Law at Hebrew University. She spread lies about Israel repeatedly and fostered an atmosphere of Jew hatred. Obviously, she has the perfect credentials for teaching about the war in Gaza and vilifying Israel, manufacturing crimes which is what you and I know the course is all about. 

In the absence of mass graves, extermination facilities and missing persons, talking about a Gaza genocide is no more than permitting an Israel hater to insult the country and assault its citizens, and by extension, all Jews. You are either willfully or intellectually blind for giving her this opportunity. 

As for the idea that "genocidal projects target reproductive life, sexual and familial structures, and community survival", I trust that the course will explain the increase in population enjoyed by the Gazans? It is incredible that you consider a population increase to be a “genocide.’ It is incredible that you ignore the decreased or eliminated Christian population from all areas under Islamist Palestinian control while the population of Christians in Israel increases. It is incredible that you support the murder of LGBTQ folks under the PA and Hamas but are concerned with “reproductive life” among Arabs in Gaza. 

Why are you ignoring the school system that teaches the Gazans to yearn for martyrdom while killing Israelis, along with UNWRA's role in enabling this mass child abuse? Why are you inviting a professor whose work denies verifiable facts of the rape and torture inflicted on Jewish women on October7, 2023, proudly celebrated and streamed by Hamas barbarians? You can’t be concerned about women, gays or minorities if you are inflicting this hater on your students. 

Regarding "community survival" it would be valuable to include the enthusiasm with which Gazan civilians, enjoyed looting the Israeli houses in which their Hamas brethren had murdered all the occupants. Perhaps you can include film footage of how Hamas openly displayed the tortured and bloodied bodies of Israeli women whom they dragged back in to Gaza after the rape, slaughter, baby burning and beheading romp in Israel. 

Princeton will be high on the list of universities from which to divest and students to avoid if you allow this hateful antizionist to teach there. Your Jewish grandparent will not be proud.
