Hon. Paul Calandra
Minister of Education, Province of Ontario
438 University Ave.
Toronto, ON M7A 2A5
Dear Minister:
Last week, the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) voted to instruct Chair Neethan Shan to write to you, asking for the Ministry to develop materials for a 3-part mandatory course on "anti-Palestinian racism."
We know, from the comments you have made, that you are as frustrated as we are about this grandstanding and the ongoing geopolitical indoctrination at the TDSB and other Ontario school boards. Like you, we want to see this stopped.
The TDSB has no mandate to become a secondary theatre of a world-wide propaganda war against Israel, however much some pressure groups want that to happen.
We would like to meet with you to share a list of examples of how top TDSB officials shield from discipline some rogue staff who have been some of the worst perpetrators of hatred against Toronto's Jewish community, including cheerleaders for the countless so-called “student-led walkouts”.
We have filed over a dozen complaints against TDSB staff that are either currently under investigation with the Ontario College of Teachers, or which have concluded with sanctions applied.
Please reply swiftly and strongly to the TDSB’s letter, stating that it is not their business to play Model United Nations, or to weaponize the terminology of anti-racism to push anti-Israel propaganda.
Best regards,

R. Michael Teper
President
