Celebrating Christian Allies & Honouring Donna Holbrook | CAEF Special Bulletin, Dec 18, 2025

The Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation recognizes that the most impactful allies of the Jewish people are Christians who value Judaism, stand with Israel and the Jewish people, and denounce antisemitism in all its forms. Christian Zionists number in the millions across the globe, and in Israel they contribute to care for the elderly and vulnerable, provide bomb shelters, treatment programs, and supportive housing, help new olim to access Hebrew and other classes, and are rebuilding parts of kibbutzim which were destroyed on October 7, 2023.

Leading this range of activity in Canada, with grace and gratitude, is Donna Holbrook, National Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. We are grateful for ICEJ Canada, as well as for many other Christian organizations and allies from other faith communities. We are abundantly grateful for allies that come from Indigenous communities, Hindus, Muslims, Yezidis, Buddhists and of course, people who are secular.

Love and compassion, righteousness and justice do not belong exclusively to any community, but standing up for Jews seems to require a special sensitivity these days (or was it always thus?) as Jew hatred has been normalized and popularized. Thankfully, in Donna Holbrook, there is an abundance of these attributes.
