Saddened by the Death of Richard Bilkszto

CAEF worked with and admired Richard Bilkszto who promoted pro-human education and helped create FAIR (Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism) in Canada.

His death is a tragic loss, and the circumstances that undermined his general mental state of well-being need to be noted, and eliminated. Ideological bullying is illiberal and is generally harmful, and as noted here, it’s racist in the extreme.

CAEF hopes the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) and other school boards turn their focus around, away from ideology and onto academia, respect for all, and inclusiveness not divisiveness. CAEF has submitted a letter to the Ministry of Education in respect of Bill 98, recommending greater transparency in training programs, better vetting of consultants and trainers, monitoring and reporting of abuses including antiracism and antisemitism.

Josh Waller, one of The Israel Guys, Interviews Israelis in Judea and Samaria, and Shares their Response to Terrorism

“The world claims that settlers are extremists. But they are not, and this video proves it. The settlers are just Jews who love Israel so much and are willing to sacrifice everything to build up the land of G-d. They are Jews who love the Jewish people so much that they are willing to do everything possible to ensure that the Jewish people can live safely in their homeland.”

Views on Israel’s Judicial Reform Proposals

Watch the video message in which Ehud Barak speaks of a coup, a momentum that he began before the proposed judicial reforms.

An Israeli Writes to the American Government

To: The American Government

We, citizens of Israel, are very concerned about the lack of democracy in your country, and feel that it may have implications for the relationship between our two countries.

We were shocked to find out that your judicial system does not have a “reasonableness” clause, and that your judges, who are surely the most enlightened people of the State, are not able to cancel governmental appointments and contracts between private citizens based solely on what your judges feel to be unreasonable and with no basis in law.

We are very troubled by the fact that American judges do not appoint themselves to the Supreme Court, but rather are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate who frequently is ruled by the same party as the President; an appointment based solely on elected politicians in which judges have no veto.

We are alarmed to learn that your legal advisors are political appointments, are constrained to merely advise, cannot overrule governmental decisions and deny the government representation in court.

We are horrified that there are topics in your country that are not subject to judicial control, and that not anyone can appeal directly to the Supreme Court.

In the event that you choose to be ruled by your judges, who are the most enlightened of all, may we suggest that you invite Aharon Barak to teach you how to institute a judicial revolution like he did in Israel. But in the case that you like your system and think that it is more democratic than ours, do NOT interfere with the changes that we are implementing to make our country more democratic and, more similar to your own.

What Now? The day after the first judicial reform bill passed

Excerpts from an essay by Avi Abelow, Director, Pulse of Israel:

…”what we are experiencing in Israel today is a coup, not a protest movement. That a tiny elite leadership of the protest movement is the problem, pushing the masses to the streets with well-funded campaigns of lies and emotional manipulation.”

“Few people are saying these truths to our fellow Jews, and to Israel-loving non-Jews around the world. Instead, everyone is reliant on the biased and agenda-driven establishment media for their news on Israel.”

…” Supreme Court judges used the very non-legal “reasonableness clause” to strike down sound government decisions like… expelling terrorist families, forbidding terrorist families from entering Israel, forcing government ministries to give State prizes to Israeli citizens who publicly support boycotting and sanctioning Israel.”

We are experiencing a despicable & evil campaign led by a small elite of disgruntled former political leaders, military leaders and business leaders, who are masterfully manipulating the masses with well-funded PR campaigns from the largest marketing companies in the country, that these business elites own, together with the establishment media, all for one purpose, to topple this government at any cost, because they don’t like the government and the changes that this government will make.”

Summer Camp for Terrorists, Operated by the PA

Palestinian Media Watch shares stories from summer camp:

“Every summer the Palestinian Authority summer camps actively indoctrinate children with the PA's hate and terror messages. One of the fundamental motivations for Palestinian hate and terror has always been Palestinian denial of Israel's right to exist. Even after the Oslo Accords, to its own people, the PA presents all of Israel as “occupied Palestine,” Israeli cities as “Palestinian cities” and the PLO/PA map of the world in which “Palestine” replaces Israel as an achievable goal.

This summer, non-recognition of Israel's existence in any borders and anticipating a world without Israel, is a major theme of PA summer camps.”
