Letter from Larry Shapiro, Calgary to the New York Magazine, November 12, 2025 re their failure to check facts and repeat the blood libel against the Jews

Dear Editor,

Please tell me it's not a coincidence that on the week that New York elected a mayor who is unwilling to accept the reality of a Jewish state, or condemn the call for the worldwide murder of Jews, New York Magazine publishes a lie about Israel committing a genocide.

Obviously, New York Magazine didn't bother to check to see if there are any mass graves, missing people, extermination facilities, evidence of forced marches similar to how Turkey murdered a Million Armenians, or looked at census information that showed that Gaza's population is growing. This information is required to confirm a genocide.  Perhaps New York Magazine has changed the definition to something like, "after we invaded they killed all our leaders and most of our men, and rather than face the shame of another defeat, we accuse the Jews of committing genocide," knowing that Jew haters will eat it up even if it never happened.

If the situation in New York gets worse for the Jews, your misleading journalism will bear some of the responsibility. Perhaps you are happy about that.
