Dear Editor,
There are a number of reasons why Canadians are turned away from Israel's border. One- politicians who have never once called for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, the implication being that they, like the Palestinians they stand behind, support the demolition of Israel. Two- these people supported the Hamas butchery and rape of Israelis, indicated by their refusal to condemn the raid. It should be noted that Hamas and Hezbollah have been designated terrorist entities by Canada, the U,S and the EU.
Canadian politicians who support these groups' activities pose a security threat to Israel. Another reason is that these politicians have no plan to speak to Israelis about peace or any other subject. They are just using Israel's border to enter "Palestinian" areas. Perhaps they should consider entering Gaza from Egypt which has a large border with this "Palestinian" state, and not enter through the Jewish state.
Considering all these elements, what country would not consider these people a threat to its security? Israel absolutely has the right to be concerned that these people are security risks.
