Letter from Richard Sherman, Florida, to the President of University of Guelph re the antisemitic Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine, and their danger to Jews, November 12, 2025

Dear President Rene Van Acker of Guelph University in Ontario:

As you are aware a group named "Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine" has publicly declared their purpose is to HOLD ACCOUNTABLE  Students Supporting Israel,  a group of Jews who believe in the Jewish Bible aka the Old Testament -- the SOLE Source of Judaism. A Jewish Bible that has only ONE foundational narrative: the Jewish People's Return to Zion - what today is Israel.

Yet because of that belief the Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine want to hold  "accountable" all these Jews.

What you may not understand that Jewish history is filled with vicious antisemites like the Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine who revel in holding Jews "accountable".

Jews were held "accountable" at Medina in 627.

Jews were held "accountable" during the Spanish Inquisition.

Jews were held "accountable" at Auschwitz.

Jews were held "accountable" at Treblinka.

Jews were held "accountable" at Bergan Belsen.

Jews were held "accountable" at Sobibor.

Jews were held "accountable" on 10/7.

Holding Jews "accountable" and murdering Jews are synonymous throughout history. It is no accident that the Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine wants to hold Jews "accountable"; they embrace the murderous nomenclature of Jewish "accountability". They obviously have the identical view of Jewish "accountability" as Adolf Eichmann, Reinhard Heydrich, Heinrich Himmler and Yahya Sinwar.

You have a decision to make. You claim that your university's motto is to Improve Life. It is not possible to improve life with the Guelph Faculty and Staff for Palestine who antisemitic nomenclature about holding Jews "accountable" is historically connected with ending Jewish life.

You cannot improve life at Guelph University until you remove all those Guelph faculty and staff for Palestine whose raison d etre is to hold Jewish people "accountable". A raison d etre covered with the blood of murdered Jews.

If they remain, you have to change your motto.
