Letter from Richard Sherman to Editor, Daily Bruin, UCLA commending the University Regent for calling out the Grad Student Association for its support of BDS

Dear Letter to the Editor/Opinion:

Jay Sures, University of California Regent, is to be highly commended for calling the members of the UCLA Graduate Student Association who condemned the appearance at UCLA by Omer Shem Tov who spent 505 days being brutally tortured by Hamas sociopaths "complete lunatics".

Of course  others would call them clones of Joseph Goebbels Brown Shirts.

It is obvious to be part of the UCLA Graduate Student Association, one must genuflect to the UNREVOKED Article 7 of the Hamas Charter which requires every supporter of Hamas to murder every jew on earth. Israel is not mentioned in Article 7.

Jay Sures represents a breath of fresh air in what has for the most part become a jew hating academic world at UCLA identical to the Nazi/German jew hating  "academic world" between 1933-1945 as represented today by the Zionophobia of UCLA professors Robin Kelly and Saree Makdisi.

In 2024 the spiritual predecessors of the UCLA Graduate Student Assn declared sections of the UCLA campus judenrein --  euphemistically called " encampments".  As US Federal Judge Mark Scarsi declared in August 2024:

"This fact( the encampments) is so unimaginable and so abhorrent to our constitutional guarantee of religious freedom that it bears repeating, Jewish students were excluded from portions of the UCLA campus because they refused to denounce their faith,”

Nothing has changed at UCLA since 2024 as the" complete lunatics" of the UCLA Graduate Student Assn have made clear.
