Letter from Richard Sherman to the Houston Chronicle exposes CAIR and related Islamic organizations as Muslim Brotherhood affiliates promoting antisemitic, terror-supporting agendas

Texas Governor Greg Abbott by declaring CAIR a terrorist organization has simply stated what the Justice Department, federal courts, scholars and investigative reporters have repeatedly concluded over the past 20 years. ("Greg Abbott Designates Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR as Foreign Terrorist Groups.").

CAIR exists to solely to promote the antisemitic genocidal goals of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR ( Council on American Islamic Relations)has been under the scrutiny of The Justice Department for its support of terrorism against Jews for over two decades.

CAIR is a creation of the antisemitic genocidal Muslim Brotherhood and has repeatedly publicly supported Hamas, whose UNREVOKED Article 7 of its charter requires every supporter of Hamas to murder every jew on earth. ( Israel is not mentioned in Article 7).

Egyptian scholar and counter terrorism expert Cynthia Farahat recently wrote: "...C.A.I.R. was labeled by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator during the Holy Land Foundation terror finance trial because of C.A.I.R.'s pervasive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood's 'Palestine Committee' which was established in 1988 to support the terrorist group Hamas".( "The Secret Apparatus: The Muslim Brotherhood's Industry of Death", Cynthia Farahat, 2022, page 339).

"The government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR, ISNA, NAIT, with NAIT, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and with Hamas," U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Texas  Jorge Solis said in his July 1, 2009, ruling. Judge Solis' ruling that C.A.I.R. was tied to Hamas was affirmed on appeal.

On May 1, 2022 Johnathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti Defamation League, declared that  Jewish Voice for Peace(JVP), Students for Justice in Palestine(SJP) and C.A.I.R. "epitomize the radical Left, the photo inverse of the extreme Right that the ADL has long tracked".

Mr. Greenblatt continued: "They ( JVP, SJP and C.A.I.R.) indisputably and unapologetically regularly denigrate and dehumanize Jews."

Recently Zahra Billoo, San Francisco Executive Director of C.A.I.R., claimed all Zionist organizations are "enemies" and are part of "the Islamophobia conspiracy"

On behalf of C.A.I.R. she also claimed that the IDF trains US police officers to "kill unarmed black men, women and children".

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt specifically described Billoo's C.A.I.R. speech as " textbook vile, antisemitic, conspiracy laden garbage attacking the mainstream Jewish community. It sounds like something you would expect from white supremacists."

C.A.I.R. was created by the Muslim Brotherhood  -- who also created Hamas, Al Qaeda and the Islamic State -- as a "civil rights" organization to provide legitimacy for its antisemitic genocidal goal of eliminating Israel and its Jewish population and establishing a Muslim caliphate worldwide. Recent history makes clear that CAIR is as much a civil rights organization as Joseph Goebbels' Nazi Ministry of Propaganda...or to put it simply, 2 + 2= 4. Duh!
