Open Letter to the Prime Minister of Canada and Response from the Prime Minister's office

On behalf of the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation we send warm greetings to you and your family, as we celebrate Rosh Hashonah, the New Year 5786. That is how long the Jewish people have existed, have lived in the Middle East, and have honoured and loved their homeland, Israel.

We want to share a special message with you, delivered verbally by Rabbi Jarrod Grover, senior rabbi at Beth Tikvah, on Rosh Hashonah. Rabbi Grover wrote a letter to you which we urge you to listen to and to consider as you and your government reframe Canada's relationship with the Jewish people here, globally and via the State of Israel. Rabbi Grover's words are profound and meaningful, and we believe his "letter to the Prime Minister," reflects the feelings and concerns of the majority of Canadian Jews.
