Take it from the Sheik—There is no Palestine

Jordanian Sheik Ahmad al-Adwan made statements in 2012 while visiting Israel, that there is no Palestine, that Islam recognizes Jewish rights to the land of Israel and that Palestinians are committing crimes against the Jewish people. His message is found in various places on the internet. Here is the article reported in MIDA, a conservative news service founded by Ran Baratz, of the Tikvah Fund.

Below the article, you will find the MIDA mission statement.

‘Historic Palestine’? A heretical invention. The right to al-Aqsa? Nothing less than a distortion of Allah’s word • Jordanian Sheikh Ahmad al-Adwan adheres to his unconventional interpretation of the Koran, and is not afraid to enrage the Palestinians and their supporters • In the wake of his visit to Israel in 2012, al-Adwan agreed to be interviewed by ‘Israel in Arabic’ and explained his teachings. “

Excerpt: “In my opinion the way to end anti-Semitism is to concentrate efforts and call for peace, spreading knowledge and forthrightly educate people of the values of justice and truth in accordance with what appears in the books of God – the Torah, Tehillim, the Ingil [the Gospel] and the Koran, which admired the Israelites, clarified their rights, gave preference to them and bequeathed to them the Holy Land and their direction of prayer – to Jerusalem. The books testify that this is a peace-loving and peace-calling nation, and it is the first people for whom the Creator designated a role in order to serve as its messenger on this earth until the Day of Resurrection.”

Another View that Islam Confirms Jewish Rights

Avi Schwartz wrote an article for the Times of Israel in Jan 24, 2020 which speaks to the Islamic view of Jewish rights that should be the prevailing view. His view, that the San Remo Declaration can and will be used against the Jews, sets the context for what he thinks is a stronger argument for Jewish rights, from an Islamic perspective.

“My intention is always to present the best way to argue for the Jewish rights to Judea and Samaria. There are those who try to argue that the reason the League of Nations did not have nor needed to have a drawn out map of the borders of the Jewish homeland because the delegates were well aware of Biblical history and thus understood that all of the Land on both sides of the Jordan was to be the future Jewish homeland have a weak assertion to stand on.

Why?

Because when studying who were the 55 nations that agreed to the San Remo Conference one sees that all were Christian, or Christian based, or with links to Christians.

Hence one could argue since there were no Arab countries then the San Remo conference decision was a biased one. Since these Nations were very intimate with the Jewish Bible “The Old Testament” and thus were prejudiced.

Furthermore, not everyone accepts the “Old Testament” to be valid as historical proof or any type of proof. In fact Islam rejects it. It says the Jewish people corrupted the Scriptures.

Therefore the San Remo can be a weapon that could be used against Israel.

Rather the best proof is from the statements found in the Koran and in Arab texts that confirm that the Land is Jewish. Such statements prove that even the opposition (Arab – Muslim) concedes to the truth that the Jews are not stealing, but rather reasserting their rights.”

Shaykh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi – the Qur’an says that Allah gave the land of Israel to the Jews and will restore them to it at the end of days. “And thereafter We [Allah] said to the Children of Israel: ‘Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd.'” [Qur’an 17:104]

Palestinian Arab Leaders Do Not Want Peace

If they did want peace, they would have it already, but since they have rejected many offers for a sovereign nation and are driven by an ideology that is intent on destroying Israel, why do self-righteous, virtue signaling, leftist social justice organizations and politicians continue to push a lie and a self-fulfilling prophecy of failure?

HOW SOON WE FORGET

“The US as a matter of policy, promoted the PLO as the representative of the Palestinian people and forced Israel to accept them in peace discussions at the Madrid Conference in 1991.” The PLO represents terrorist extremism, and is part of the Palestinian Authority. Successive American governments have wooed the PLO, the PA, Fatah and other elements of extremism in Arab society, hoping to find a peace partner, denying reality and ultimately failing.

Israel Advocacy Organizations Misled the Jews

Read excerpt of summary of the latest decision by the European Union to continue funding the PA/UNRWA terrorist education, with no conditions. (Ed.)

For well over a year Israel advocacy organizations led people to delude themselves that the EU would work with Israel to revamp the PA/UNRWA school curriculum, which indoctrinates the next generation of Arabs for total war. Having commissioned the examination of more than 1,000 of the new PA texts since the day that the PA began to produce its own school books in August 2000, there were no surprises as to the content of their text books. So why were some people surprised when the EU took a strong position to support the PA and UNRWA schools as they are?

For one reason. Israel advocacy groups confused the European Parliament, which wanted to change the PA texts, with the people who make policy, The European Commission of the EU, which expressed passionate support for the PA war curriculum. Trying to correct Israel advocacy groups who confused the European Parliament with the EU was absolutely futile. They would not listen. Now the damage has been done.

The time has come to mount a new campaign to challenge the EU support for the PA indoctrination of total war on the Jews and to demand supervision of their curriculum. If the allocation of public funds for such "education" is not a war crime, then what is?

Every aspect of PA and UNRWA indoctrination involves murdering Jews, without emotion, in their texts, their media, their murals and their songs.

No, this is NOT the Third Reich, which covered up their crimes. The PA and UNRWA leave nothing to the imagination, except those who delude themselves into thinking that if the European Parliament objects to teaching genocide then the EU will follow suit.

Best to invoke the statesman, Edmund Burke, that he would rather be "an idealist without illusions than an illusionist without ideals".

PALESTINIAN ARABS are TORTURED by the PA

Over 250 tortured at Jericho prison in 2021! The stories are finally seeing the light of day, and even being investigated by the not-so-esteemed body, the United Nations. In a report prepared by the Palestinian group, Lawyers for Justice, it was revealed that detainees are hit all over the body, have their heads covered, and their hands tied behind their back for long periods of time. They are blackmailed, withheld food and sleep, prevented from seeing a lawyer or family members, and threatened with acts of violence, including sexual violence, against their family members.

The Jerusalem Post published an article on July 31, 2022 by Khaled Abu Toameh that names individuals who have been recently tortured, even killed by PA security forces, the protests rising from families and some human rights organizations.

What is the likelihood that Western media will even report this story? Call for an investigation? Find fault with the PA’s governance of their own people?

Label UNHRC as a Hate Group

The UNHRC, is deeply infected with antisemitism and should be regarded as one of the largest perpetrators of Jew hatred internationally” stated Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, head of Shurat HaDin, the Israel Law Center. The organization has called on Deborah Lipstadt, the new Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism to label UNHRC as a Hate Group.

Advocacy and Action

CAEF responds to antisemtisim in the classroom within the Ottawa-Carlton District School Board. Read letter sent to the Board.

In light of a recent bus ad campaign in St. John’s Newfoundland, promoting the lie of Israeli apartheid, CAEF sent this letter to the Chair of Metrobus Company, The Mayor of St. John’s and the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.

CAEF has submitted a request to speak to St. John’s City Council on this matter and is collaborating with members of the local Jewish community to share information and suggestions. A community leader has reached out to Senator Dr. Mohamed-Iqba Ravalia for assistance in getting the offensive bus ads removed, permanently. He is onside with the community.

In response to a call to action by Honest Reporting Canada, to condemn the biased reporting by OMNI TV journalist Farah Mustapha in a recent program, CAEF sent this letter.

We urge readers to respond to the call to action; write your own letters when you see or hear unjust claims against Israel, lies and propaganda intended to hurt the Jewish community or even with events with unintended consequences. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
