Hamas Breaks Ceasefire Multiple Times
Americans for a Safe Israel published a critical analysis of the situation in which Hamas has continued to attack Israel, killed two IDF soldiers on Sunday, and then had Trump advise that Israel should not retaliate. Who thinks that the terrorists are giving up terror, recognizing Israel, surrendering their arms, willing to drop their hold on Gaza?

Tachlis, Jewish Advocacy and Allyship
October 23 saw representatives from a dozen Jewish organizations gather under the auspices of Yalla to hear representatives from areas of greatest concern speak about the issues affecting our community, and how to take necessary steps to advocate and influence changes.

Topics covered included Jewish pride, effective advocacy, antisemitism in K-12 and the harm caused by DEI, Jewish responses to Bill C-9, building allyship, advancing justice on campus, and more. The underlying message of the day’s conference was in the urgency and necessity of collaboration, coordination and consistency across Jewish organizations.

A History Lesson on “Palestine.”
Hamas Back to Terror Tactics
Read article by Itmar Marcus and Ephraim D. Tepler in Palestinian Media Watch on the return to terror incitement, activities in schools and hospitals and ruling Gaza.
Read excerpt
“Hamas is again hiding its terror activities in schools and hospitals, as it did before and throughout the Gaza war. It has also redeployed its security forces across most of the regions of the Gaza Strip that are not under Israeli control, the Palestinian Authority official daily has reported. Moreover, Hamas is not only ruling over the Gazans, but it is auditing the activities of international aid agencies and making them pay taxes to Hamas.”
ZAKA Reports New Developments on the Northern Border
“A disturbing new intelligence report has just been released earlier today: Hezbollah is rebuilding its forces faster than the Lebanese Army can dismantle them. Western officials warn that this unchecked rearmament could ignite a new conflict if Lebanon fails to act decisively. This rapidly evolving threat places lives at risk and demands urgent preparedness on Israel’s side.
According to Western sources, Hezbollah has resumed recruitment, rearmed with rockets, and restored operational bases north of the Litani River, despite international agreements intended to keep this zone free of militant activity. While the Lebanese government has shown intent to disarm the terror group the threat to Israel is growing more dangerous by the day.”
Celebrating International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, Canada
Happy 45 Years Anniversary!
On October 19, Christians, Jews and other Allies gathered for a momentous occasion, celebrating the great work of iCEJ, in Canada and globally, supporting Israel and the Jewish people in countless ways. At CAEF we know and appreciate the great love ICEJ leadership and members have for the Jewish people, and extend heartfelt thanks.
CAEF was pleased to be one of the sponsors of the event titled, Common Ground, which featured Nate Buzz (Nathaniel Buzolic), an actor and passionate Christian Zionist. In his talk, as he gave the audience a glimpse into his personal journey, Nate highlighted the themes of faith, Zionism and the urgent need to fight antisemitism.
In a world increasingly fractured by misinformation and fear, he offered a heartfelt and compelling perspective rooted in unwavering conviction, compassion and solidarity.

Canadian Universities Cower to Anti-Israel Demands
The University of Guelph administration cancelled the Students Supporting Israel (SSI) program, Israeli Soldiers Tour, for the second semester in a row, denying students an opportunity for firsthand dialogue.
Students Supporting Israel at the University of Victoria has been placed on probation over a social media post — a clear example of administrative overreach into student free expression. Meanwhile, groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) routinely post antisemitic rhetoric without consequence.
Toronto Rally for the Hostages Ends After 107 Weeks
At the corner of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Ave. hundreds of Jews and Friends gathered for the final rally that had taken place there every Sunday since October 13th, 2023. The last living hostages had been freed! There was much celebration, tears and laughter, and the ongoing anguish for the families who await the return of their murdered loved ones. The people of Israel have suffered so much, and the war for them is not over.
Hundreds of thousands of Israelis are suffering loss, trauma, anxiety, while being the most resilient people, strong and courageous. CAEF acknowledges the pain and suffering, the anger that must be playing out as Hamas fails to meet the criterion of the ceasefire, two soldiers are killed, and the remains of the dead have not been released; and there is no sign of the terrorists’ disarming.
Nate Buzz noted the symbolism in dates, when he spoke at a small gathering on Shabbat: the massacre was on 10/7 and the rally ran for 107 weeks, through all seasons. The rally began on Oct 13, 2023 and the hostages were released on Oct 13, 2025.
Speakers at the closing rally included Nate Buzz, Councillor James Pasternak, MPP Lynn Smith, MP Roman Baber, Activist and VP of CAEF, Avi Attali, and rally organizer, Guidy Maman.

Indigenous Embassy Jerusalem posted this on October 20, 2025.
We’re excited for the upcoming IEJ Academic Symposium, where our fantastic lineup of speakers will draw on the ancestral wisdom of Indigenous peoples from the Torres Strait Islanders, to the Amazon jungle, to Judahites in Babylonia.
False narratives will be deconstructed and a body of solid academic material created.
This, combined with the stories and artistic representation of Indigenous collaboration, will strengthen our Indigenous identities and connections.

Gazans Kill Each Other and Endangered Whale
The reaction, or lack of one, reveals what intersectionality has become: a hierarchy of victimhood, not a code of ethics. In this worldview, morality is determined by identity, not behavior. Jews and Israel are cast as permanent oppressors, Palestinians as perpetual victims. No matter how cruel the act, the script never changes.
The killing of Ofek was not an isolated tragedy. It was a mirror, reflecting a society where compassion ends at the border of ideology, and where the loudest voices for “justice” fall silent when injustice isn’t politically convenient.

Advocacy and Action
Sign Petition to remove “Expression of Identity” document and training from Ottawa Carleton District School Board.
Jewish students in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) are being harassed and made to feel unsafe under a misguided policy that permits political symbols and slogans about global conflicts—especially the Israeli Palestinian conflict—inside schools.
Introduced in the name of “inclusion,” this guidance has instead fostered division, discrimination, and hostility, turning classrooms into spaces of activism rather than learning.
We’re calling on the OCDSB and the Ontario Ministry of Education to rescind the “Expression of Identity and Global Conflicts” guidance and ensure schools remain safe, neutral environments for all students.
You do not need to have children in the OCDSB to sign — this petition is being shared nationally and internationally.
Schools are for learning, not politics.
